Serving as the chief executive officer and chairman of the Cabot Advisory Group, LLC, Steven M. Darien has pushed the company to new heights by leveraging his more than 30 years of experience in human resources. Steven M. Darien is a Rutgers University alumnus and now serves on the Rutgers University Foundation Board of Overseers.
Established in 1972, the Rutgers University Foundation was formed to enhance the university’s excellence in research, academia, and public service. The foundation is a New Jersey corporation defined as having educational and charitable purposes. Since its start, the foundation has raised more than $1 billion.
The Board of Overseers governs the foundation’s activities. The board cannot exceed a maximum of 75 members. Of these 75, 19 must be either Rutgers University trustees, members of the Rutgers University Board of Governors, or previous ex officio members.
